In an statement, issued by social networking giant Facebook Inc,. has announced that, it wold soon allow US users to collect or donate the money using the “Security Check” feature which will help the peoples who are affected by natural disasters and violent attacks which will get help easily.
Security check was introduced by Facebook in 2014, to indicate which Facebook user marked safe during the disaster or violent attacks. The security check was first used in the United States last year after a gunman killed 49 people in a nightclub in Orlando, Florida.
This feature was also available during the deadly attacks on London Bridge later this month.
Facebook also said its “Community Help” feature, will also help the people who are affected in disaster and find each other locally to provide and receive assistance, would soon expand to include desktop users.
