United States, Technology giant Microsoft Inc, has today announced its new feature “phone sign-ins’ which will help its users to sign-in into their account by using their user ID and simply authenticate the password using their smartphones.
To access this feature the user have to download the Microsoft Authenticator app. Currently this app is available on iOS, Microsoft Phone stores and on Android. After installing the Microsoft Authenticator app the users have to select their account from the drop-down button and choose the enable phone sign-in.
Each time when users sign into a Microsoft accounts in future, it will generate a login request that simply matches a number on users machine with the number within the Microsoft Authenticator app.
You can always choose to use your password to sign in if you’ve forgotten your phone, but this process is far easier and ultimately more secure
