Today, Cisco and IBM Security have announced joint work to address the growing global threat of cybercrime. In the new collaboration, Cisco and IBM Security will work closely with products, services, and threat information for the benefit of customers.
Cisco security solutions will be integrated with IBM’s QRadar to protect organizations in networks, endpoints and clouds. Customers will also benefit from the scope of support for IBM Global Products products Cisco products in their offers managed security services provider (MSSP).
The collaboration also establishes a new relationship between the IBM X-Force and Cisco Talos security teams that will collaborate in threat research and coordination on major incidents in cyber-security.

It is expected that by 2021 cybercrime will cost the world $ 6 trillion a year.
“The collaboration and joint proposal of the decision is planned to begin immediately and will be released in the next few months,” added Shahani.
“The combination of Cisco’s breadth and depth of network infrastructure and Cloud security offerings integrated with IBM’s Cognitive Security Operations Platform, will help customers secure their organizations more effectively from the network to the Cloud,” Shahani noted.
