As early as December 2015, Motorola launched the second generation of its Moto 360 smartphone in India. And now, it seems that wearable can get an update to Android Wear 2.0 sooner than expected.
Motorola has confirmed the news on Twitter, by posting the message: “We are pleased to announce that the Android Wear 2.0 We do begin to unfold in stages on the second generation Moto 360 may already today.”
However, no details were revealed on which regions will get the upgrade first. It is worth noting that Moto 360 Sport will also get Android Wear 2.0.
“Moto 360 Sport will get 2.0 but we do not have time to share,” responded Motorola’s Twitter Support to user inquiries.
Motorola India also indirectly confirmed that the operating system will reach users of Indian Moto 360 (Gen 2), but did not share details.
“We do not offer release dates, but we are working to distribute it to all eligible devices worldwide as soon as possible,” Moto India reported on Twitter.
