The instant messaging giant, WhatsApp Inc has quietly added end-to-end encryption feature for its iPhone users, which will allow the users to securely backup their chats on iCloud.

As per the reports, WhatsApp encryption feature for iCloud  was the hot topic on internet, but recently it came in to highlight, when Russian security company, named Oxygen Forensics claimed  to have bypassed encryption. In an statement the company claimed that, if they need to access through the SIM-card, they can use it to generate an encryption key, which can be later used by any users who want to access the message on iCloud with ease.

In essence, this means that government agencies that have access to the SIM card can potentially use it to gain access to encrypted messages stored in iCloud.
