Elon Musk stand on his choice to stay on Trump’s business advisory board over the weekend of criticism. The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla was ignited by its proximity to Trump administrations. Musk also received an online reviews and some customers claims that they have canceled their Model 3 order

On Sunday, Elon defended his stay  by tweeting that “The activists should be pushing for more moderates to advise President, not fewer.”

On Saturday,he said on twitter that the immigration ban is our first item on the agenda of the council at his request. He also added “He used the meeting to discuss on climate change.

“I think it feels good, so will stay on the board and keep to it. Doing otherwise would be bad,” he added in his tweet on Saturday.

He added in his tweet that “I believe this is doing good, so will remain on council & keep at it. Doing otherwise would be wrong,”

Last week we have reported that, The Uber CEO, Travis Kalanick has step down from the Trumps business advisory board after receiving criticism internally and externally for working with Trump administration.

A few hours after the news of Travis decision of broke out,Musk stated he would not leave the committee in the wake of Trump signing his immigration ban.

Elon’s statement:

“At tomorrow’s meeting, I and others will voice our objections to the recent executive order on immigration and offer suggestions for policy changes. The advisory councils simply provide advice and assistance does not mean that it agrees with the actions of Administration.”

Elon usually takes the approach of covering their statements. He did the same things in November when Trump ran for president when he said, “I feel a little stronger than probably not the right guy. He does not seems to have the kind of character that reflects well in the United states”.

He seems to have shifted his overall focus following criticism over the weekend by providing more context as to why he was working with the Trump administration. Elon did not explain what was said about the ban on immigration or climate change at the meeting.

This is not the first time when Elon has used his access to the White House to discuss on Climate change, he pushed for a carbon tax during a summit in American Manufacturing.
