German Automaker Mercedes-Benz has today introduced its new AMG GLC 43 Coupe model in India at a priced of Rs 74. lakh rupees (ex-showroom price in Delhi).
During the launch, Mercedes-Benz India CEO and Managing Director Roland Folger told reporters that “This new SUV Coupe will be an important part of our 43 AMG line and will be an important vehicle for further moving the 43 AMG range to a new customer base”.
This model adds the combination of dynamics of a sports car and the versatility of the Mercedes-Benz GLC with the coupe’s feel.
“We are confident that this mark will be well received by our distinguished Indian customers,” he added.
This car comes with various of features including all-wheel drive, electric sunroof and LED light system and can produces 367 HP and can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
On the sales performance of last year, Folger said “It has become a golden year for us.”
In the first half of the year, the car sold 7,171 units to India; Best performance up to date.
“We are confident that we will be leading the luxury car segment this year,” Folger said.
In order to expand its AMG brand presence in India, the company is planning to set up two new AMG performance centers at Kochi and Chennai.
The company currently has its AMG performance centers in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.
