In the central province of Hubei, China builds it’s first big data and research center for children’s, in an attempt to improve child heath care system in the country.

The center was established by the Wuhan University and Beijing based pediatric technology company in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, which aims to develop more advanced medical care system for children in the field of disease prevention, diagnosis and individual treatment.

It has gathered information on more than 200,000 children from 70 hospitals in seven provinces of Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Anhui and Sichuan.

By 2017, the center will collect the data from 300 hospitals and by 2020 it aims to collect data from 1000 hospital.

The research center said that it will become into the first national cloud platform for providing information about children’s health, by offering them a standards on personalized care and clinical treatment.
